Welcome to Sekhem Ka

 Sekhem Ka is something I'm creating as I have time. The term Sekhem means life-force and the term Ka means spiritual double. Combined this name evokes an idea of journey to strengthen your life-force on the spiritual or ethereal realm. I have some goals for this project and as time goes on we'll go over those here on this blog.

Sekhem Ka will have two foundational pillars. These pillars are Kemetic Knowledge and Sekhem Knowledge. Each will focus on their respective topics and they are both required areas of focus to walk the Sekhem Ka path. 

Kemetic Knowledge: This pillar focuses on the wisdom of ancient Egyptian religion, emphasizing principles like Ma'at (balance), the journey of the Ka (spiritual double), and the connection with the Netjeru (deities). Practices within this pillar could involve:

• Studying Egyptian mythology and symbolism.
• Meditation focused on deities or concepts like Ma'at.
• Rituals incorporating Egyptian prayers, offerings, or invocations (done respectfully).

 Sekhem Knowledge: This pillar focuses on cultivating and managing your life force energy. Practices within this pillar could involve:

• Energy hygiene techniques like grounding and cleansing exercises.
• Learning about the subtle energy body and chakras from an Egyptian perspective (if applicable to your system).
• Meditation techniques to strengthen your Sekhem and develop energetic boundaries.

The core concept of Sekhem Ka is the integration of these two pillars. We will develop practices that combine aspects of both pillars into rituals, meditations and more.
